Corvallis is still swimming in bright colors as the leaves begin to fall. Enjoy campus walks or strolls along the river while the season lasts. It won’t for much longer! The Corvallis Farmers Market, located on 1st street, is still going strong. Check it out from 9am-1pm.
Eugene is also starting to see it’s leaves fall. Take a walk along the popular Steve Prefontaine Trail, park of the Alton Baker Park complex, and feel secluded in the woodland trees.
Medford and Southern Oregon are still rolling in the peak of fall foliage. Check out the golden yellow, vibrant oranges, and dark reds. Doing so has never been easier, take part in some local events. The Ashland Culinary Festival and Lithia Loop Trail Marathon are both this weekend.
DANCIN Vineyards is looking particularly gorgeous in this fall color, also the back roads of Medford (set course towards Jacksonville) rank as local favorites.
Central Oregon continues to have sunny skies, but cold nights, so the leaves are starting to fall here, with a few exceptions. Drake Park near downtown Bend, and Shevlin Park, on the west side of town, still are beautiful. There are so many leaves in Drake Park, that parents have been with rakes creating huge piles for their children to jump into!
First Friday Art Walk takes place this Friday, November 3rd, in downtown Bend and at the Old Mill District. Events this weekend include the Wildfire Ceramic Showcase, Children’s Pop-Up Museum, SledFilm 18 at the Tower Theatre, Happy Girls Sisters Half Marathon, live theater, comedy and music.
