Favorite Fall Hikes: Proxy Falls

Proxy FallsGlowing reds, oranges and yellows are already lining the trail at Proxy Falls, one of the Eugene, Cascades & Coast region’s quintessential fall hikes. We revisited this favorite yesterday and found that the fall color is not only starting, but already offering a dazzling display as you wander through lava beds and dense forest.

In the next couple of weeks, the vibrant colors will hit their peak, making it the best time to hike, photograph and explore this 1.25-mile loop trail.
