This weeks foliage update suggested traveling the Hells Canyon All American Road.
Alice Trindle, Eastern Oregon Leaf Watcher, sent us this photo from Pine Valley along the Hells Canyon All American Road. She says “In Eastern Oregon it is not just the leaves and Tamaracks that change into brilliant fall colors, but also the texture of the diverse landscape. Rolling brown hills that look like sable velvet, manicured hay fields trying to hold on to the last greens of summer, and nature wonders such as this rainbow. We live in a beautiful state!”
Alice, we couldn’t agree more! Some of our favorite fall colors are red crawdads in coastal streams, clear blue skies, and fans in duck yellow parading over the Willamette River to Autzen Stadium. Let us know some of your favorite fall colors.
