The color change is just starting. Look for yellowing big leaf maples through the central and northern Coast Range, and orange to red vine maples on the east side. The southern Coast Range is mostly green.

The color change is just starting. Trees are a mottled mix of mostly green with some reddish browns and golds. View great early season colors from either side of the Willamette River overlooking Willamette Falls on the Oregon City side (99E/McLoughlin) or West Linn side (205 freeway viewpoint).

The color change is just starting. Learn about fall at the free family-friendly, ranger-lead “Fall Colors” nature walk through Tyron Creek State Park from 10-11:30 a.m. this Saturday, September 26th. Find more info at www.tryonfriends.org.

Mt. Hood/Columbia River Gorge, 888-622-4822 for visitor information
The color change is just starting in the Mt. Hood Territory. The color change has not started in the Columbia River Gorge.

Southern Oregon, 800-448-4856 for visitor information
The color change has not started for most of Southern Oregon. Get a sneak peak of what fall has to offer throughout Southern Oregon when you walk the leaf littered paths of Stewart Park and Fir Grove in Roseburg.

Central Oregon, 800-800-8334 for visitor information
The color change is just starting. Aspen, maples, burning bush and other foliage are just now showing hints of fall color. When the colors hit their peak, don’t miss Drake Park in downtown Bend.

Eastern Oregon, 800-332-1843 for visitor information
The color change has not started for most of Eastern Oregon. Ontario is still green and experiencing highs in the 80s. Aspen in the Steens Mountains and willows around the lakes in southeastern Oregon are turning yellow. Look forward to late October/early November when the tamaracks change in the Wallowa Mountains.
